Hello Fellow Dirigiblenauts!
Would anyone be interested in starting a single ship tournament? Either a knock out or a league? Or maybe a World-Cup type hybrid of the two?
I'd be very happy to administer such a tournament if we get enough interest and can agree a set of rules/structure.
It might be nice to do something a little competitive and see who's design and captaincy skills are the best!
Anyone up for it?

I'm game to try it! Though, it might take a bit of time and effort to coordinate the participants' schedules and time zones before any actual battling can take place.
What would the price limit for each ship be?
I like the idea of a tournament :D
Ultimately if we get enough interest it would be nice to have different classes of tournament for different price limits, however that's probably for down the road when Airships has taken the gaming world by storm.
I was thinking 1,000 initially. This is a nice compromise between being able to build some interesting designs but having to offset armament, armour, speed, and manoeuvrability.
I'm open to suggestions though.
I personally think something like 2000 would be better. Since most designs are 1400, or something like that.
I'm fine with 2000 then :-)
I am totes in favour of this idea BTW, but I'm gonna let you guys organize it. Let me know if you'd like anything in particular from me, like subforums/wiki pages/whatever.
I like the idea of a hybrid typ for the tournament, but maybe only for half-final and final plus a battle for the 3. place :D
Count me in if you're doing a tournament, i d'ont really care whatever type it is. And 1k or 2k limit is fine, but i actually prefer 1000.

This sounds like an amazing idea (but don't count me in yet, probably gonna be too busy)!
But what i wanna know is will this be a reoccurring thing?
Reoccurring tournaments like this could be a much more efficient way of getting multiplayer battles setup!
sounds interesting... I will participate (if possible). I would generally prefer 2K, more design options.
