Hi Zarkonnen (yes i know your probably gunna end up reading this again....wizardry..)..
For future reference i would just like to make this a quick 'thing' to put an end to the "i think they had X at Y time since they have Z technology in-game" by having you throw out some more detailed.. details on the world overall/in general.
After all you should know the most about your universe, right?
If you could do this it would put an end to some of the above on the Suggestions side of the forums and allow some of us to have a lot more precision when trying to think of cool things that will actually fit in with the lore of the game!
Yes Zarkonnen, if you have several minutes for us, could you please read the Original Weapon Concept posts in the suggestion topic and give us some clues about what scientists can create in your world...
The reality-equivalent timescale is basically 1870 - 1940, though note that there's a fair amount of Mad Science and rule-bending going on. It's Steampunk shading into Dieselpunk, after all.
So when considering what to add, "does it make sense" is less important than:
Is it a cool idea?
How hard is it to implement?
Does it work with other existing or planned features?
Does it make the game more fun?
What does it do to game balance?
Does it add new interesting options for the player?
With that said, I shall now go over to the other posts and have a look. :D
