I am really excited to know that we're -THIS- close to landships being in-game!
There are some things I'm wondering though: mostly they boil down to 'will we be allowed to build landships with only two legs/wheels? They might look a little silly, but I think it would be fun!
Also: will we be able to make landships with more than four legs? And will we be able to make a landship that has more than one system of locomotion, eg: wheels AND tracks?
Wait, I thought there were going to be wheels too?
-Edit- The reason I'm making a fuss over there being wheeled landships in addition to to legged and tracked landships is because there are a couple steampunk designs that require them.
War wheels (the specific image is from Justice League, but these were a surprisingly common design idea for armored warfare, even if the closest real life ever got was the Tsar Tank).
Civ 5 style land ironclads (I've seen the design in several other places, but cannot recall them off the top of my head).
And the Land Leviathan from Michael Moorcock's novel of the same name. Now, I couldn't find an image of that one, but the text describes it as a huge, pyramid-like behemoth, with guns bristling from each level, coated in heavy armor, and trundling along on enormous -wheels-.
Being able to replicate any of these machines in Airships, which I would very much like to do, would absolutely require wheels.

Air Admiral
I think the wheels you see he's working on will be textured to look like tracks.
Aerial Emperor
Yep, tracks:
Commander
This makes me happy. I will make this when the update comes out. http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/nazigermany/photos/MausTrials_1944.png
Commodore
As soon as the update comes out I'm making a friking AT-AT.
-Edit- (an AT-AT is a massive camel-shaped-mech-with-guns-in-its-head-thing from Star Wars)

Air Lord, Engineering Corps
First thing i'm going to attempt is a tsar tank... I highly doubt it will be effective in combat, though.
