Was watching the stream that was up June 20th that started off with a landship trampling a structure, the sheer speed at which the large landship destroyed the building with movement orders alone kind of worries me on the effectiveness of buildings once this update comes...
Buildings already have shortcomings compared to their more mobile counterparts but make up for them by having no weight issues, meaning if you have the resources you can throw the heaviest armour on them.
But the landship i saw on the stream had no troubles whatsoever destroying the building in under half a minute!
This worries me because a buildings greatest strength is high hit-points by not needing to worry about armour weight which makes them strong, but there does not seem to be any defense against a charging landship other than 'shoot it down really really fast' which is sometimes not an option and because they have no ability to move they are sitting ducks against them...
-edit- this may have been a bit of an early concern.
After watching the rest of the video i guess modified anti 'tank' spikes made out of truss could be tall enough to stop landships from clambering over everything!
Thought so, also do you think you could have buildings need no requirements in order to save a design?
So if you want to build truss 'spikes' to stall ground forces you can but still not let anything with a gun/functional module work unless it has crew and stuff?

Yeah, landships' feet are currently rather too destructive. Not intended as such!

So I can confirm that feet and tracks no longer do absurd amounts of damage in the latest dev build. :)
