Eh, it's ambiguous. To expand on this, I'm currently hard at work on finishing dev7. Most of what remains is bugs and random consequences of the introduction of landships, though I do still have to explain to them that they can't cross water in strategic mode...

I currently keep on finding new bugs and corner cases, so I'm working through these. I don't want to give you a firm deadline given dev7's track record of smashing through them, but I'm personally aiming to get it all done within the week.
Yep, that's pretty much where we're at now. I could rush out the update within a day, but it would have crashes, misbehaviours, missing translation keys, etc. Not that I can guarantee it won't have those anyway, but fewer of them, hopefully! :D

I am having alot of fun with the landships, I did find a couple bugs though.
the upper attachment point of small legs is not above the ladder, I assume that it should've been above the ladder. (edit: its not only the small legs, its with tracks, large tracks, small legs, and large legs.)
I changed my heraldry to have the new Wolf passant. but as you might see it doesn't show on the forum. possibly for all 3 of the new icons?
This is not a bug but it is a question about v7. Boarding seems to have changed and I'm not sure how to get it to work every time. Air marines don't seem to jump from rocks to ships and they also don't seem to board if you are directly over a ship
I have seemed to work out what is going on, if the ship is not in range of another building/ship/landship the marines will climb to the top. With the marines on top you have to be almost on top of another vehicle/building for the marines to jump and even then not all of them will jump unless you kind of move back and forth. As for jumping from rocks to ships i have never gotten that to work. As for the screenshot i'm not sure how to do that as I don't have a website to put them on
EDIT: Ok so i played around a little more and I got everything to work like it should with the exception of it looks like the range that air marines will jump has been severely decreased. On some bigger ships when the marines climb to the top, the jump seems to be too large for them.
I've noticed that too. On most of my larger ships, when I select the Board command, the marines just hang out at the top of the ship and enjoy the scenery for the duration of the battle.
You know I was thinking about it and if the amount a distance air marines jump really was decreased, then maybe if it was increased it could be "justified" in the lore or in-game barracks description by saying "These marines are equipped with Suspendium lined boots that allow them to fall great distances." it would actually have any extra game play effect apart from air marines jumping how they used to, it would just be a cool little blurb of text.
It would be better if they hung-around near the bottom of a ship instead of the top. Because you practically have to ram an enemy ship from underneath just to get them to board the enemy. The AI unfortunately has no idea how to board ships now and I'm constantly seeing those little guys just hanging out on top of the boat.
Well at least boarding parties got a bit of a nerf. They were pretty op before, and now it does offer a pretty clear incentive for grenadiers over regular air marines.

Has the speed of the "Ground Ship" command been changed? It seems to place the ship down much less gently than in the last version.

Hmm, air resistance has been reduced, so it's quite likely that I need to rebalance ship grounding.
