It was actually composed by Curtis Schweitzer, who also made the soundtrack of Starbound.
Oh, nice! Starbound also struck me as having brilliant music.
The sound effects of Starbound are stunning as well - Sometimes, I just stand there on a lush planet, listening to the soft piano, chirping birds and light rainfall against my windows...
Well, the UFO game is not-so-subtly my next project after Airships. With the music, I plan to work with an actual musician and treat those tracks I made as "sketches". :D

Airships has some great music!
I'm definitely picking up some hints of Steve Reich and Gustav Holst.
Who composed it? Zarkonnen?
Commodore
Lord no, anyone but Zarkonnen! It was actually composed by Curtis Schweitzer, who also made the soundtrack of Starbound.

Ah, I see you were present for the time on-stream where I played some of my awful attempts at making music for Airships. :D
Commodore
Actually, I think you posted something to do with your Soundcloud on Twitter first, and I, uh... followed the link...
Lieutenant
lol :D

Heh, I don't think my own music is all awful, but I'm better at more electronic stuff like this sneaky flying saucer track.
And yes, I was super-pleased that I got to work with Curtis on the game's soundtrack.
Commodore
Don't worry, if you ever decide to continue working on your UFO game to eventually sell it, I'll appraise/critique all your music. ;)
