Here are some suggestions for some more fire colors!
(The fire in the recent screenshots looks overly pale to me, but even though you planned on changing the colors anyways I thought having different colors of fire would be nice.)
Wood burning: Orange fading to red/brown (perhaps, the more fires that are on a ship, the "hotter" the fires can be, and the color will change to white fading to bright yellow fading to red.)
Suspendium burning: White fading to pale green
(or)
Pale green fading to pale blue/purplish
Flamethrower fire: Pale blue fading to pale yellow
Diesel burning: White fading to yellow?
Feedback is welcome, I haven't found a reliable place to research how different things burn.
