It might of been since 6.0
I tested with high quality off and it had no effect.
It gets to the loading screen then dies.
To reproduce - launch game at full res when capturing via game capture in OBS.
Load game and try to battle. Game stops responding.
Mucked about with nvoglv32 within C:\Windows\System32 produced nothing.
tested recording after i load in to a battle it works fine. Somethings causing the access denied error during loading
Edit -Is there anyway as a temp solution i can point the game at the .dll if i copy it in to the game folder?
Have you tried turning off high-quality graphics? I suspect it's a bug I'm currently chasing up where in some circumstances, using an extra buffer to draw lighting data into is causing a crash.
So I think I may have cracked this, finally. There's a library bug that causes some machines to crash when creating offscreen buffers. We'll see if the next patch fixes things. :)

Ello, Attempted to record the game today and whenever i went in to a battle the game crashed out.
It did not do this if OBS was not recording Same effect if i run both as administrator and regardless of steam or none steam.

Hm, badness. Let me see if I can reproduce this...

Actually, some questions:

Might be due to some kind of overlaying?
Lieutenant
how can i send you a crash report? :)
Lieutenant
Faulting application name: Airships.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5438237f Faulting module name: nvoglv32.DLL, version: 9.18.13.4752, time stamp: 0x54d3aed2 Exception code: 0xc0000005
Access violation apparently

This appears to be something to do with the day/night cycles i just ran on airships-ea53-win and no crash.
latest crashes regardless of resolution so its not a full screen issue. i think what ever the night/day uses might be causing it
Edit - Reading up on it , its something to do with openG
Accidentally deleted my post :P

Lieutenant
Yes i tried it with both :P
Aerial Emperor
Hmm, OK. Could you look in the game install directory and see if there's any .log files there, and send them to zarkonnen@gmail.com?
Lieutenant
Ok i sent you it :D
Lieutenant
i hope this gets sorted soon :D!

I just want to point out that this would be better put in the Suggestions & Support, just for future reference.
Lieutenant

ooooooooo :D Could i get an early copy if possible just so i can do a video?
Captain, Engineering Corps
Scotty, last night I was just recording fine in OBS while in full screen.
Lieutenant
he said its a bug with some machines :) i tried a good few times, its not full screen related.
Captain, Engineering Corps
Oh I see now that is with a few machines :P
Aerial Emperor
OK, try it with 6.1 and let me know if it's fixed.
