Was building a hovercraft in From the Depths when another player hired an NPC ship to murder me when i wasn't paying attention (Damn you, DWG and your massive fleet of inexpensive wooden boats with missiles!), it exploded an ammo store on my ship killing me and causing slow motion form the large explosion.
This inspired me to make this suggestion post (and to only build in single player) which is basically i would like to see when large things explode like huge ammo stores that the game slows down for a few seconds but not from lag just slow motion.
I agree with Clockworks, as it would be cool to have (because explosions :)) but I would want it toggleable for if I'm just trying to get [battle] done with.
Maybe just have it in normal speed but anything other than that (x2 for example) will omit the slow motion because any speed higher than 1 we can assume people just wanna finish battles.

It would make explosions prettier i feel..
Captain
That might be a nice option. But it should be an option, as in, something you can choose to turn off.

maybe we can see crew inside of a exploding module falling into their doom :D
Air Lord, Engineering Corps
with an added Wilhelm scream!
Commander
Ok... why a Wilhelm scream? it's funny at all, but WHY?
