What if there was a way to disrupt or temporarily disable any sort of suspendium device, i.e: suspendium chambers, or suspendium cannon. My idea for this, is a Suspendium disruptor, or EMP computer, if you will. It requires 1-2 air sailors to operate, and has long cool downs, but is quiet effect against enemy airships that use suspendium for propulsion.

Sounds like a cool concept, i imagine it would work like an ion weapon would in FTL, you shoot it at the enemy and whatever room it hits (successfully) is temporarily disabled for a few seconds?
If so there could be a lot of new strategic options behind this, maybe special back-wall to deflect "EMP" damage or something. But there needs to be a way to have it make sense given what we know about suspendium...
Maybe something like suspendium dust being able to 'steal' the charge of larger crystals or something given the lore (but i just made that part up as an example, maybe Zarkonnen will see it)...
Yeah, it was an idea that popped into my head, since I have both games, (FTL, and Airships) I wanted to post the idea, and see if people could expand on this, and I do agree that it would have to be implemented lore-wise some how. I also imagine, that in the future there will be more supportive airships, that primarily focus on helping other more combat rolled airships in a fleet, an example would be like having an airship that could resupply other airships with coal or ammo, or even have medical ships, that transport the wounded of one ship to another, and the ideas for support ships could go on and on.
Yeah support ships have been pitched before, i guess we need to wait until Zarkonnen inevitably finds this post and maybe fills in some lore i guess?
