As any thought been put into having some kind of Captain of the airship? You'd only be entitled to one but he'd be faster or more efficient at everything he does and even increases the effectiveness of crew around him.
I think thats planned, as well as some crew mixups in style.
Yeah, I really like the idea of a captain. Not sure if they'd be one of the little airsailors. The current idea is to do something like the commanders in Master of Orion II, where each commander improves one or two aspects - for example weapon accuracy or fire risk.
Or they can be super special, adding new Commands to the commandbar like;
"Charge" (moves ship straight ahead for (15x ship lenght)) until it hits a ship.
[With shiny speedlines and engine sounds)
"Dodge" (Ship slightly moves on its own to avoid gun fire)
"Volly" (Every (small arms?-) weapon fires a extra shot, right now)
Ooh, I like that too. Like special orders in Battlefleet Gothic IIRC. Another thing I quite like as an idea is the ability to supercharge your suspendium crystals, giving a temporary massive boost in service ceiling. I will have to experiment. BTW, you should totally set yourself a coat of arms!
For Charge, if it's implemented, increased speed is a must. After all, with my best ram, I can already just tell it to move forward.
