Hello, just droping by to say something and then vanashing again.
What I currently realy miss are more decoration for the outside of the ships.
Moving Cogs, ramshack planks nailed to the ship, pices of cloath hanged before the windows, burn-marks...
All nice things without a actuall ingame effect, but able to make ships simply more uniqe, or give them a nic little touch of actually being used and not all fresh out of the factory.
The other thing is a minor 'bug'.
Decoration placed on Struds disapears behind them.
Sometimes, that can be a bit, ähm, unwanted when placeing nameplates or flags.
Because of that i sugest a second, technical identical (maybe slightly diffrent colored) strud that layers behind decorations.
I know that it would probably be easyly doable with mods, but i think the vanilla-game would realy benefit from more visual vareiety that does not impact the gameplay.
the said "bug" is not a bug, its just a design choice, if it didnt have the strut texture on the outside, it would A: use armor, and B: not look like a strut anymore
as for these things you wish to be added, you obviously have to take into account that everything has to be textured, bump-mapped, and have fragments, all of which can take a long time depending on the part (and that goes for the mods too, the modders (such as myself) have to go through the same process)

Do decorations even have fragments?
I know it isn't technical a bug, but it is at least not intended beavior of two codes trying to do diffrent things.

if i remember correctly, decorations have very small fragments, and basically explode when any of the modules it covers takes any sort of damage
