The bottom left/bottom right tiles have the green "_" mark on the bottom to indicate a point where crew should be able to access, this is not true and the editor does not allow for it and treats it like the only two crew access points are on the top and bottom middle tiles.
Ah, thank you for the clarification! FYI the marks are wrong: the intent is that the only access points are at the top and bottom, and indeed the only accessible tiles are the middle two.
Using 'Open Design' in any editor treats the player with a red error screen instead of the Open Design menu, a second attempt treats you to a black background screen, from here you can only shift-tab close the game.
Yep, can confirm. sigh it's another case of the previous problem - the code assumes something is there on the file system and crashes if it isn't. And of course it is there on my file system, but not on anyone else's.

Side note: I take back the 1920 by 1080 screen resolution not being what it says on the tin, for some reason my resolution option is not in the in game settings menu bit in the startup box.
Also, the text size doesn't seem to scale properly in the editor, on some resolutions most letters become only six pixels tall.
Engine pod produces the smoke effect way too often, it makes a pitch black streak across the sky when a ship moves.
Engine pod also shows/has no external sprite(?) and with the interior view you can tell if the engine is destroyed (which is supposed to happen), but externally it looks normal.
Mechanical spiders always bunch up on top of each other because they target the same enemies.
Mechanical spiders killing all crew does not count as a ship being disabled, only defeated. (meaning crew-less ships in the campaign will fly away to their home country with mechanical spiders in them! I'd hate to be the poor guy who has to clean that mess up when it arrives.)
Yep, and it's now fixed so that you always get 25% of the money already spent and 100% of the money not yet spent. So if you cancel a construction right away, you get all your money back, whereas if you cancel it just before it's done you get 25%.

1920x1080 (fullscreen) is not 1920x1080, mouse drifting has made a return.
Engine pod mounts (bottom left, bottom right) are not actually crew accessible despite saying so.

Extremely laggy in main menu on startup.
Also, I fatal crashes from navigating said main menu screen.
-edit- Installed patches, works ok now, still kinda laggy

So is the game temporarily slow in the main menu after you started up? Does it happen when you re-enter the main menu later?

Beta 4 is out, fixing a combat crash, and making the engine pod no longer emit way too much smoke.

Hmm, ideally you should lose 75% of the cash already spent and 0% of the cash still remaining. I'll check what it actually does. :D

In that image, it looks like the ladder of the engine pod is unable to connect to the top of the cargo door (Which has no door on the top).
Moving it so that it connects to the crew quarters on the left should make it work.
