An almost person-like dummy composed of wood and straw, coated in razor wire and seasoned with just a hint of salt.
The idea is to make it costly for a monster that eats crew to do so aggressively.
Ships could be equipped with a Razor Mannequin Storage module which behaves like a specialized guard barracks. Having it deploys several Razor Wire Mannequin "crew" in guard spots around the ship.
These crew do literally nothing but stand stationary under normal circumstances. They can be killed by explosive AOE, but boarders don't even interact with them.
The mannequins' only real functions are to (1) look like a tasty snack and (2) be really terrible for eating.
Monsters that consume crew have a chance to grab the mannequin instead of a normal crew member and are dealt a significant amount of penetration damage upon eating them. More and better placed mannequins increase the effectiveness of this tactic, but act as dead weight in all other circumstances.
An explosive variant is possible, but (1) it's expensive and (2) the bomb-laden "crew" can cause secondary explosions if destroyed in a blast.
Cool idea! Maybe even expand on the idea a bit and in addition to a deterrent like the razor wire mannequins maybe also create some kind of launchable bait that you can hurl toward enemy ships that will attract monsters to them instead of your ships. Just a thought.
It's as if ants started trying to stop anteaters by sculpting fake thorny versions of themselves, I love it!
We haven't seen Zarkonnen do/say anything about specific anti-monster weapons yet. Anyways, razor wire 'crewmen' should probably be enough to ward off some of the less aggressive crew-eating monsters when they are consumed.

I dig this idea so much. Hope the "Sailor Grabbing" gets implemented.
Reminds me of the "meat" in Zelda for the NES... :P
