Guns on rails could be possible in the game as a way to maximize the efficient of a limited amount of guns, with them you can move the gun up and down or left and right.
though "guns on rails" based on the craft they are on may be too complex, would it be too much to potentially ask for randomly generated cities that have railways? that then, you could have special land unit-trains for?(and then maybe on the map, a new "railway network" similar to roads, but solely for trade and maybe massive railway guns?)
Randomly generated railways would be cool, alongside the ability to build them yourself between to cites you own, for a pretty hefty price of course. On that note, also having the ability to upgrade your shipyard would be a nice addition. Gives cites something to do when they aren't directly involved in the front-line.
i like all those ideas, the building/upgrading of railways and cities sounds amazing (maybe the upgrading of railway stations could allow more trade routes or something to that effect? then again building a new railway route would realistically add a new track anyway, so maybe not)

A bit too much added complexity, but would definitely benefit if the game ever decides to include automated systems in the future.

Part-genius, all things considered, if Water becomes what we all hope it will.
If, say, there's "Plumbing". Then why not "Rails", etc.
Legit submit, ahead of its time is all.
Air Admiral
Was plumbing ever promised in the first place? Seems a bit unnecessary...
