Air Lord, Engineering Corps
I've noticed it is really hard to make a good small support ship in Airships, the problem stemming from each module requiring a multitude of other modules in order to work properly.
I suggest 1x1 coal and ammo store modules that function similar to the fire extinguisher and have up/down/left/right crew connections, requiring the same technology to unlock as fire extinguishers.
The 1x1 racks would have generally less than half the stats of the larger counterpart, weight included.
Hopefully with this addition micro airships can be much smaller in design.
I'm torn in-between myself on this one: On one side, I think the size of the airship would be so small at that point, you're better off just using fighters... On the other side, if micro airships are really just going to be "Flying troop-types" with no hardpoints (Such as having an engine, which if destroyed, will disable movement) then why not? If we really can't have micro airships, then I'll just make them myself...
OK think about this: miniature landships! Drone/micro airships won't do that. Also they probably aren't customizable/or easily controlled like the real constructables, so miniature air/landships have that advantage too.
Miniature landships? I like where this conversation is going...
maybe 1x1 suspendium dust? and 1x1 compressed suspendium dust?
maybe 1x1 sail
maybe.. carronade, a 1x1 cannon, shorter range and less accurate.
Why not? ;)
