I understand its a bit early to be talking about dev10 but it honestly seems like a chance to add many of the things we've always wanted for this game. It IS a revamp of the conquest mode after all. So here's a list of things think would be cool to have in dev10 and you guys give me your opinion on it all.
Diplomacy At the very least, I'd like to see a primitive diplomacy system. Something along the lines of being able to create a non-aggression pact, and being able to form allegiances.
Tech Tree I don't really have to go into too much detail with this one do I?
Infantry Having an option to train infantry. I just really like infantry.
Trenches A type of defensive "structure" that is very useful defending against infantry, but not much else. Trenches are, well, trenches, that, in comparison to buildings, are much smaller but more "defensive" (Trenches rely on the concept that by that point, you won't be able to shoot through the earth anymore.)
Civilian Buildings Basically, factories and houses and things like that. I think they would be a really good addition into the game.
So Zark, what do you think of it all? And other people that are not Zark, is there anything else you would like to see implemented?
Air Lord, Engineering Corps
Ham dragons are a top priority.
I wonder what Zarkonnen's version of dev10 actually looks like.
Alright, I just had a few other ideas:
Desert Basically, an environment where things have a higher probability to catch fire, and landships move slower. Also, we should probably implement consistent environments. As in, if this area is a desert, it will always be a desert throughout the whole game.
Time System Basically, some form of clock that will let players decide if they want to attack at day or night. Also, would probably serve as a good "challenge" if players want to finish the conquest, in, lets say, 10 days.
