I was wondering if it might be possible to add giant wheels to the list of landship propulsion methods? I know they'd probably be somewhat similar to treads, but hear me out.
In Michal Morcock's 'The Land Leviathan', the titular Leviathan, described as a mobile fortress, is said to roll around on six enormous wheels, rather than a set of treads. And of course many real life magazines and newspapers before the advent of the tank (And even for a while after) depicted hypothetical war machines rolling around on colossal wheels. There were even a number of so-called 'war wheel' designs, where the whole vehicle was a monowheel design larger than a house.
I just think it'd be interesting to be able to recreate some of these designs in Airships.
Changing a look also asks for new balance. Right now there's a fairly tight balance all around.
That said.
Upper-middle balance on tracks is a little wonky. I've been trying for good Tanks for my next update and found the 5k-8k are really hard to pull off well. So, maybe, a lighter version of the Spider Degsin balance with the same height as a large tracks.

There are Pedrail wheels in HG Wells' 'The Land Ironclads', too.
I like the idea, wheels would be more modular than treads and would allow for the construction of half-tracks.
