An idea I had for the game is to add Turret systems. How they would work is that if a gun is attached to the turret system, if the machine turns around, or the target is behind the gun, the turret turns to shoot them! Basically flipping guns without turning the entire machine. It will, however, require nothing to be in the way in front or behind the turret. Add different sizes, too! From small for rifles, to medium for cannons, and big for BIG guns!

You state that a in-line turret type weapon-module would be added that can fire 90+90 degree arcs.
its blocking in any sideways direction (unlike I believe every other weapon).
So its basically two back to back front/reverse cannons? (in one)
What about a side-module mounted turret that can fire 360 degrees? (and be mounted INSIDE the ship) - which may unbalance the game...

I think he should add Structures.
It would be pretty neat to see "heavy troopers" with mounted turrets. Anti-Personnel Turrets. Drones, maybe.
