Varg sound fun. I've listened to some German medieval/folk/metal stuff, though my favorite is probably this unorthodox Heimataerde track:
On the topic of German music, I'm also fond of this Welle/Erdball one. Somewhat fitting given it's about terrible aerial incidents:
Apart from that, I'm currently enjoying Jocelyn Pook as coding background:
What else? Uh, my musical taste kind of goes through phases, so a lot of the time I'm like "I know I previously said that song X is the best one ever, but right now this completely different style of music is much more fun to listen to". So, random other stuff I have recently enjoyed:
Angry Mexican electronica:
Swan Lake, which I totally got turned on to by Black Swan (the arthouse "Showgirls"):
Azealia Banks, who says some very stupid things on occasion but is nevertheless a very interesting listen:
And one more from Germany! Rotersand, an industrial pop band:
For me, I like a broad variety of metal: Classic metal, blues metal, alternative metal, thrash metal, black metal, and death metal. Don't get me wrong, I like rock, blues, some jazz, and even some electronic stuff, but metal will always forever be in my heart as my favorite. Some bands? Tool, Iron maiden, Judas priest, Black sabbath, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Cannibal corpse, Primus, and the list could go on and on.
I figure this thread should be revived, also this band deserves some recognition for taking 14 months to make a machine that shows people music boxes are still really cool:
We totally do have a Music Froth thread, but I missed this thread in specific. This pre-dates froth.
I suppose in general this suggests your favorite music and chit-chat where froth is like Games suggestions - straight to the music. ...and it's an excuse to publish pop-culture music videos I produce. Doctors Cut, and all, they'll be over there...
For instance; I love all types of music, and have had the opportunity to produce videos for virtually every genre. I prefer EDM because it syncs well with most platforms - ie Commercials, Videos, Games, and so on. You will find EDM in there... with exception of Horror Films, where virtual orchestras take the floor.
Fitting Country music into a game can be difficult, and usually it's some electronic variation of country.
