I've been working on this "low-attendance" forum game for a while now. I refer to it as "low-attendance" because players can just create a character and let it run amok rather than have to direct each move it makes.
The way this works is that each player creates one character, choosing their stats, weapons, and armor. Then the characters made will be put into a tournament-style bracket and run through an online battle simulator. I've got two other forums creating characters as well, so we should end up with a decent roster.
You start with 4 points to spend on stats, but this can be increased by purchasing negative stats.
A stat of "0" is average.
-The prices for stats-
The meaning of the stats are as follows:
Strength- Increases damage inflicted, reduces encumbrance, allows heavier weapons to be used
Dexterity- increases hit rate (Attack),
Quickness- increases initiative and defense
Stamina- increases "soak" (the amount of damage you can take before being wounded)
-Weapons-
Here's a list of weapons and their stats. When using a shield, you add the stats of the shield to the weapon you're pairing it with. You can choose 1 weapon from the list (and a shield if you desire).
Shields may only be paired with Single Weapons or non-(2h) Chain Weapons.
-Armor-
Prot- Protection, adds to Soak
Load- Weight, adds to Encumberance
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Some details may have become muddled as I transcribed the rules.

pretty heavily loaded but eh.
how does load work anyway? Significantly affects the guy I put in above.
Load adds to encumbrance, which reduces all your stats when it gets too high. However, with +3 Strength, you won't have any problem. However, the battle axe can't be paired with a shield (it's 2-handed).
