Lieutenant, Engineering Corps
WHEN (not IF) this community gets really big, it seems the forum may become inadequate. Are there plans or developments in progress to improve the forums cababilites?
Issues I am imagining would come mostly from the unlimited length threads... (Or at least, I have not yet noticed a limit)
When you have 100s or 1000s of forum posters a day, I imageine that will get quite exciting to try and find the last posts of threads and such.
But aside from that specific critique, just wondering if the forum has any other general development planned.

Yes when the game gets a big community, the structure now will cause lots of problem
and next time post forum relaited stuff in META
Yeah, long-term there will have to be some improvements in terms of performance and moderation capabilities. Right now, everything is small enough that I just drop by once a day to answer questions and perform basic admin.
Ah, that makes sense, I suppose. Can't wait till it gets that big!
Speaking of which... How many people do we have? Just out of curiosity.
Didn't go through it all, but based on estimation I would say 275-315
I imagine this wonderful game will attract aviation (specifically lighter than air) history geeks, sci-fi/comic book fans, and steampunkers (I happen to be all three). It would be nice if there were sections of the forum for off topic discussion on each of these areas.
Please make these sections! Also, let me know if there are communities of aviation geeks/sci fi fans/comic fans/steampunkers who would be interested in the game. Getting more people to know about it is obviously important to me. :)
I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Does the game have a Facebook/Twitter/all those other social media things presence?
It has a twitter i think.
Awesome, I shall spread the word. I've spoken about it to a few people at work already who might be interested.
