Airships are a vital part of any modern fighting force, but perhaps you don't want to build your own. Understandable, such large scale projects tend to require a lot of specialized infrastructure work, and tend to attract saboteurs like moths to a flame. Luckily, with the rapid arms race that is airship construction, there is no small number of surplus crafts lying around the shipyards of the Oligarchy of Glenrowa, readily available to be sold to the despot on a budget.
The Dagger Class of ships, dating back to the final days of the Glenrowan Civil War, and one of the earliest proper airships to be produced by Glenrowan hands, is quite the relic. But while it may be fragile and look somewhat cobbled together, it has some very notable upsides. Though the dust tanks are quite fragile and the sails are labor intensive, they are cheap, and do not require any coal, allowing for far longer flights than any coal-powered craft. Additionally, it's pair of sails, as low-tech as they seem, are capable of bringing these class of ships up to reasonably fast speeds. This, along with a decent bit of weaponry for a craft of this size and price-range.
The Gladius Class of ships, in contrast to the above Dagger Class, is a very recent design, still in service in the Glenrowan Navy, though many were decommissioned and ended up as surplus when the end of the Lepidopertian Conflict rendered the expanded Navy unnecessary. Fittingly for such a modern vessel, this class of ship boasts a sleek design, with dual engine pods capable of bringing it up to quite quick speeds. Combined with it's variety of cannons, rifles, and Gatling guns, split up between three separate weapons banks to prevent the possibility of a damaged ammo store taking out all of the ships weapons in a chain reaction, means its' able to make quick work of any lightly armored craft, as well as a very capable bomber buster. Of course, this high-end tech doesn't come cheaply, and the use of coal-powered engine pods and Suspendium crystal chambers means any sorties are on borrowed time.
