I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone has some cool designs that revolve around using suspendium dust chambers, I have an entire fleet designed to use only suspendium dust chambers, and to my relief, they work just fine, if you can find a good way to protect them. Also note that this way of building only restricts you to using sails for propulsion.
Wanted to try doing a really big zeppelin. It's actually completely garbage in a fight, and gattling guns make it fall out of the sky way too fast to be even a fair fight. If you're lucky, the struts can fall on bad guys and cause all sorts of horrible damage.
I've spent quite a lot of time refining a rigid zepplin (i.e. pressure tank) based design. It's combat ability has improved by leaps and bounds from where it was originally, which is to say it is fairly unimpressive. At least it only explodes occasionally. I think this is the most we can hope for from dust tank designs, they have very little staying power.

Designs These are my tier 1 or Mk I designs, so they are weak and simple.

I have a few "Zeppelin" designs, unfortunately they are pretty terrible and were built as a gag. I'll try to upload them when I don't feel lazy.

blimps explode so gloriously now!
The new explosions are amazing when the chambers set off massive chain reactions and leave flaming debris everywhere.
too soon?
