The Echeclia Republic is the main 'faction' that is used by myself, and which's Heraldry is used for myself as well. Of course, since I use them often, it would be fitting to give them a thread to show what their fleets could host:
The Pawn
The smallest of the fleets' airships, the Pawn is not the backbone of the RAS forces, but instead act as a supporting force. Relevantly cheap, a Pawn may be equipped with a Ventral turret and two Flak cannons, or four Rifles and additional supplies.
The Rook
The Rooks are the RAS's airships which has the highest service ceiling, which supports their role of bombarding the foe from above. Alongside the hull-mounted rifles, a Rook may be equipped with either two bomb bays, or 16 Echeclan Marines, with rumours of 'Elite' Rooks having Echeclan Grenadiers instead.
The Checker
In spite of the rise of Landships being dismissed as 'a wasteful fad of valueless importance' by Echeclan statesmen, the urge for actual forces on the ground brought fourth the Checker: a small landship mounted with a Dorsal turret and a rifle down below. Uncommon due to the statemen's disregard for them, they serve more of a defensive roll on the strategic scale.
The Bishop
After suffering major defeats from the swarms of ODA Carps, the Bishop came into creation in order to counter the swarm, which it managed to at a very mild success. Nonetheless, they are often supplied to aid the forces at war beyond it's original role, equipped with a forward-facing rifle at the top, and with either four gatling guns or flamethrowers held in the underside.
The Knight
Unlike the others, not much of the Knight airships are known, but rumours has it that to fit with the theme, such a ship would be the fastest of the RAS fleets, with a ram mounted for dishonourable ramming purposes.
The King
Not like the King of actual chess, which is little more than a crippled queen that all the battle relies on, the RAS King is the centrepiece of any force from the Republic. Originally built as something to win the War of Manifested Rule, the King is armoured to a higher standard compared to the other ships, and is armed with two turrets of both Dorsal and Ventral make, in addition to two rifles and three cannons forwards the front.
The Queen
But what is a King without his Queen? The answer presents herself with the purpose to employ the more powerful weaponry that has unveiled themselves to the world, and to aim it forwards the foe with aid of the wonder which is the Computer, to ensure that the foe will suffer a untimely death. The Queen is equipped with gatling guns at both front and back, with a Suspendium Cannon hooked up directly to the Computer, however there is rumour that the RAS will experiment with mounting the dreadful heavy cannon in the former's place.
The bishop uses the light armour, as to avoid weighting it down and to keep the cost low, allowing for the fielding for a few at the budget of 5000-10000.
As well, I made Royal versions of both the Pawn and the Rook, being the elite version of the ships, with differences compared to their more common appearance. I'll be keeping the changes secret for those.

Commander, Engineering Corps
These performed very well against my (somewhat outdated) ships in multiplayer matches earlier today.
What type of armor does the bishop have- light or standard?

Aerial Emperor
So what WorldMaster is leaving out is that he/she beat me thoroughly with those ships yesterday. :)
I like the paint jobs on them, it's unusual but works really well.
